Don’t want to chair a committee or lead a team?
Here are specific tasks where we need help:
- On-line non-juried show coordinator (to give members an opportunity to sell work - for example, we’d like someone to set up an end-of-year show for holiday sales)
- Social Media admins - 3 (mainly for Facebook)
- Historian - to discover interesting facts for our 50th Anniversary
- Video editor to prep and post our video recordings for YouTube
- Tech support - help set-up and run our hybrid meetings
- Publicity - create attractive attention grabbing notifications
- Volunteer to design the SOP2027 show booklet
Consider these other ways you can get involved:
- organize a paint-out, a meet-up, a museum trip, a studio tour, a social activity
- Join a committee or team
- help with hospitality, exhibitions, etc.
- help find venues for workshops, exhibitions, retreats
- Exhibitions (help hang the show, sign in artwork, etc)
- Sponsorship (help find businesses to sponsor awards for MPS juried shows)
- Workshops (help organize, find venues, artists, painting locations)
- Membership (welcome new members, help answer member questions, meet & greet)
- Education / Outreach (how can we better educate others about soft pastels?)
- Volunteer to do an MPS PEP Talk
